Behavioral Health Provider Bios

Carmel McKentry, MA, LLPC completed her Bachelors of Arts degree in Pre-Law (Political Science) with an additional major in Psychology in 2000 from Michigan State University. She worked for Catholic Charities (formerly known as Catholic Social Services) for 9 years as a Case Manager working with at-risk families identified by Children’s Protective Services and Foster Care and the Family Centered Services Program Coordinator. Carmel completed her Masters Degree in Counselor Education/Community Counseling, this year at Western Michigan University. Her Behavioral Health Counseling skills will include assessment and goal setting, crisis intervention, substance abuse, behavior modification, teaching parenting skills and coordination of services.

 

Cedric Scott, LLP is a limited licensed psychologist graduating from Western Michigan University.
 

Cedric is certified by the State of Michigan as a Substance Abuse Counselor, level II with more than eight years experience in substance abuse counseling and over twelve years experience counseling juveniles in various institutions.
 

 He has training in cognitive behavior therapy, psychotherapy, and advanced clinical supervision training. 


Tonya Sims, LL MSW joined Hackley Community Care Center in 2008. In 2000 she received her Bachelors Degree in Social Work from Saginaw Valley State University and went on to obtain her Masters Degree in Social Work in 2006 from Michigan State University. She comes with experience in crisis counseling, intervention, and behavioral health counseling of patients from childhood to adulthood.
