Dental Provider Bios

Joey Arbutante, DDS is certified with the North East Regional Board (NERB) and the Michigan Dental Board. Before joining HCCC in 2001, he attended Michigan State University in 1992 where he obtained a Bachelors in Science (Biology) and went on to the University of Detroit-Mercy where he received his DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) in 1997. Dr. Arbutante is a preceptor for University of Michigan Students. His practice interests include Family Practice and a special interest in Cosmetic Dentistry and Dental Implants.

Ivan Egan, RDH, MS has been with Hackley Community Care Center since 2001 and is the Dental Manager. He graduated from Ferris State University with his Masters in 2001. Ivan has experience in Private Practice and in Public Health. He has special practice interests in Pediatrics (School Programs) and Education (Adjunct Faculty University of Michigan).




Joshua Joshua, DDS is certified with the North East Regional Board (NERB) and the Michigan Dental Board. Dr. Joshua attended the University of Michigan and obtained his DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) before coming to HCCC in 2001. Dr. Joshua is acting Lead Dentist for Hackley Community Care Center and is a preceptor for University of Michigan Students. His practice interests include General Dentistry.



Robert Mixer, DDS is certified with the North East Regional Board (NERB) and the Michigan Dental Board. Dr. Mixer received his DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) form the University of Michigan in 1958. Dr. Mixer came to HCCC in 2005 with 47 years of experience in Private Dental Practice in General Dentistry. He has also worked at a Migrant Worker Clinic, and is a preceptor for University of Michigan Students. Dr. Mixer’s practice interests include General Dentistry, Preventative Dentistry and Restorations / Occlusion.

Randolph Moeller, DDS is certified with the North East Regional Board (NERB) and the Michigan Dental Board. Dr. Moeller graduated with honors in 1980 from Indiana University School of Dentistry where he received his DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery). Dr. Moeller came to HCCC in 2008 with a passion for missions and teaching. His practice interests include General Dentistry.



Nancy Piersma, RDH graduated from Ferris State University in 1968 and has been practicing for over 40 years. Nancy came to HCCC in 2001 with extensive experience in Private Practice. From 2004-2006 she worked in Hackley Community Care Center’s Clinical Pediatric Department. Nancy has a special interest treating our Hispanic Patients and continues her studies in Spanish.



Robert Plambeck, DDS is certified with the North East Regional Board (NERB) and the Michigan Dental Board. He received his DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) from the University of Michigan in 1985. Dr. Plambeck came to HCCC in 1999 with Public Health and Private Practice experience. From 1994-1996 Dr. Plambeck was a Geriatric Dental Fellow with Duke University and is also a preceptor for University of Michigan Students. His practice interests include Family Practice with a special interest in Geriatrics and Removable Prosthetics. 

Marilynn Post, RDH came to Hackley Community Care Center in 2007. She graduated from Ferris State University in 1981. Before practicing at HCCC, Marilynn worked in Private Practice and Miles of Smiles Dental Bus for Pediatrics. Marilynn enjoys working with all age groups with special interest in children, geriatrics, diabetic patients and OB patients.




Rubayyat Rashid, DDS is certified with the North East Regional Board (NERB) and the Michigan Dental Board. He received his DDS (Doctor of Dental Surgery) from the University of Michigan in 2003. Dr. Rashid came to HCCC in 2005 with General Dentistry experience and he is also a preceptor for University of Michigan Students. Dr. Rashid’s practice interests include General Dentistry with special interest in Pediatric Dentistry and Oral Surgery.


Diane Seabolt, RDH graduated from Ferris State University in 1983. Before coming to Hackley Community Care Center in 1998, Diane gained experience in various private and group dental offices throughout West Michigan. Diane enjoys volunteering for community “Hero” parties and is well known around HCCC as the “Tooth Fairy”.
